Materials Database

VT for Pipe is flexible and ready to go to work.  You can use the standard pipes, structures and fittings in the database when you install, and you can always add more materials on the fly if you find something strange on a job.  The material database lets you arrange materials in ways that accellerate your takeoff.  For example, you can group your pipe types, or structure types so that a particular owners material types are all grouped together.  That means that during takeoff you only need to wade through a limited set of information.  For example, if you are only installing PVC SDR 36 on a job, you can limit the list of pipe types to just that type to save time and reduce errors selecting materials.

VT for Pipe also lets you build specialized templates for different owners, or job-types using the master material database as a foundation.  We provide all the tools you need to import types of materials between jobs and still provide consistent results from job to job or estimator to estimator.
